Coco Austin has finally reunited with father, Steven Austin, after he spent a month battling coronavirus in the hospital.

“My dad made it back home!” Coco, 41, captioned a selfie with Steve, 63, and her sister, Kristy Williams, on Sunday. “He is covid free but is still dealing with damaged lungs that covid leaves behind.”

Last week, the model’s husband, Ice-T, revealed his father-in-law has permanent lung damage after contracting COVID-19.

Coco added that because of the effects of the illness, Steve is now “bound to an oxygen machine,” but is “very lucky.”

“He lost 30 pounds in this time period so my job is to plump him back up so he gains his natural muscle back and is back healthy LOL,” she wrote in the post. “It just feels great to see him in good spirits again..this whole thing has been so stressful.”

The former “Ice Loves Coco” star said her dad felt like he was “in jail” while he was hospitalized, because he was unable to see his family and friends.

“No windows No visitors and laying in one spot and not being able to walk around was getting to him,” she said. “He also adds you could hear people moan in pain during the night and some people weren’t making it ..So sad.”

In July, Coco exclusively opened up to Page Six about why her father having COVID-19 was so difficult for her, as well.

She shared that she was “next of kin” and had to decide whether to put him on a ventilator at the time.

“I have a really big family and they put it in my hands to make these decisions, so it’s been really hard to have to even talk about,” she told us.

On Sunday, Coco also shared that Steve was able to reunite with his granddaughter Chanel, and posted a picture of the pair together.

“This is the first time Chanel has seen him since the whole ordeal she was excited to see him as you can see,” she wrote. “Oh and can I say all your prayers came through. #powerofprayer Thank you❤”
