Cassidy Gifford, the daughter of Kathie Lee Gifford, paid tribute to the late Regis Philbin on Saturday, one day after the TV icon died at the age of 88.

Taking to Instagram, Cassidy, 26, posted a photo of Philbin with her late father, Frank Gifford, who passed away in August 2015. The Giffords had been married since 1986.

“The laughter I know you two are sharing together again in heaven is palpable… love you forever, Reeg,” Cassidy captioned the snap.

On Saturday, Philbin’s family confirmed he had died Friday of natural causes.

Gifford — who worked alongside Philbin on “Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee” from 1985-2000 — penned an emotional tribute to her beloved friend.

“We spent 15 years together bantering and bickering and laughing ourselves silly—a tradition and a friendship we shared up to this very day. I smile knowing somewhere in Heaven, at this very moment, he’s making someone laugh,” Gifford wrote on Instagram. “There has never been anyone like him. And there never will be.”

Earlier this week, Gifford, 66, appeared on the “Today” show, where she spoke about her final get-together with Philbin, which took place about two weeks prior.

“I just thought to myself, ‘Lord, is that the last time I’m going to see my friend?’ Cause he was failing, I could tell,” she said.

In addition to Gifford, Kelly Ripa also honored her former co-host with a heartfelt message, calling Philbin, “The ultimate class act.”
