Lisa Rinna’s daughter is defending herself against people accusing her of faking her eating disorder for more “air time” on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

“I usually don’t post these. But this really got to me. Lying about a mental illness is disgusting. Something I hope nobody would ever do,” Amelia Gray Hamlin, 19, said in a series of Instagram Stories on Monday.

She continued, “I seriously can’t believe I’m being accusing of lying about anorexia to get more ‘air time,’ sorry but I’m forced to be on the ‘Housewives’ by my mom. Ask anyone it’s the last thing I want to do. I couldn’t care less about air time. So f–k you.”

On Tuesday, the teen took to Instagram again to clarify her comments about being “forced” to do the reality show.

“Can everyone please calm down and stop!!! My mom is so so amazing. She ‘encouraged’ me to be on the show in my opinion,” she wrote. “I was 12 and didn’t know what it was going to be like. And I’m glad that she encouraged me to do so. I’ve been able to touch so many souls with my Story. I should Have said ENCOURAGED NOT FORCED !!!! THAT WAS THE WRONG CHOICE OF WORDS.”

Hamlin added, “I just literally said no to something I did not know anything about. My mom ENCOURAGED me to do so. Obviously it’s been 6 years I could have stopped filming long ago can you all just chill?”

In April 2018, Hamlin revealed that she had struggled with an eating disorder. The following year, during a family dinner scene on “RHOBH,” Amelia told her family that she wasn’t hungry and she was “allergic to everything” before lashing out.

“I may have looked like I was recovered, but I was most definitely not. Within the scene you will see me lashing out due to my fear of food. The person displayed in tonight’s episode is not the person I am. It was the person anorexia made me,” Amelia said after the episode aired.

A few weeks later, she told Glamour she would have relapsed had it not been for her public support.

“When you’re in recovery from an eating disorder, it’s so difficult to continue pushing through even when you have bad days where you just want to go back to your old habits,” she told the mag. “Sharing my story has helped keep me accountable. I want to be a role model, to be strong for all the people who look to me.”
