A bra straight out of her Barbie dreams.

Nicki Minaj, who is expecting her first child with husband Kenneth Petty, announced her pregnancy on Monday in typically over-the-top fashion, posting photos of herself cradling her baby bump while clad in a bejeweled bra and see-through platform heels studded with pearls.

Adorned with tiny tot-themed trinkets including pacifiers, rattles and baby bottles, the 37-year-old rapper’s custom lingerie was created by LA designer Lacey Dalimonte, who told Page Six Style that she had less than 48 hours to get it finished in time.

“I was visiting my family in Michigan and got an email from Nicki’s stylist, Aquiles. He was like, ‘Hey, I have this crazy project — want to try and make it work?,’” Dalimonte, 27, recalled.

“He told me the exciting news — which obviously was hush-hush — and said that the concept was old-school Nicki, very Harajuku,” the recent Otis College of Art and Design grad continued, adding that she was otherwise given free reign with the design.

Dalimonte sketched on her flight home to LA, and then began putting the bra together using colorful charms and Swarovski crystals.

“I love using unique materials and untraditional concepts,” she told us. “I wanted to hint at the baby by using the bottles, pacifiers and rattles throughout. To go with the kawaii vibe, I also used real candy, and just collaged it all together.”

The biggest challenge, besides the tight turnaround time? Perfecting the fit.

“[Minaj’s] body is definitely unique; my mannequin was nowhere near her shape. But I happen to have DDDs, so I literally draped the outfit on myself,” Dalimonte said with a laugh.

And while the designer worked through the night last Tuesday to finish the piece before her Wednesday-morning deadline, she said seeing the finished product on Minaj made it all worthwhile.

“To make something a week ago and have it already be out is really exciting,” Dalimonte told us of her creation for the Grammy nominee. “This is my first major project, and it’s really rewarding — especially since it’s such a huge moment for her.”
