Sonja Morgan’s new look was achieved by going under the knife.
The “Real Housewives of New York” star, 56, revealed that she had a facelift and neck lift done by Dr. Andrew Jacono after wrapping Season 12, which is currently airing.
“I just wanted to be rid of the wrinkling on my neck and the jowls that were starting to form. People thought I was nuts because it was so subtle. But not to me!” she posted on Instagram on Monday. “It was a no-brainer – gravity had taken its toll, I was also exhausted and I needed a ‘pick me up.’”
Her co-star, Leah McSweeney, commented that she would visit Jacono when the time was right for her to go under the knife, adding, “You look stunning. And love your openness about it.”
Jacono posted another before and after side-by-side of Morgan on his Instagram page, commenting that he was “blown away” by her results and that her being forward about her work “will empower women who are considering taking control of their appearance.”
He explained the procedures as well, writing, “As you can see from her #faceliftbeforeandafter, a #facelift can look completely natural with my signature #extendedddeepplanefacelift technique with absolutely no tightness because I am lifting the deep musculature and fallen fat pads of the face not pulling on the skin! But I think she looks 15 years younger!!!! At the same time I performed a #necklift with #platysmaplasty to treat laxity and #neckbans.”
Morgan previously confessed in 2018 that she has “done so many things, [she] can’t remember.”
