Stoute spoke with rapper Russ at SelectCon about whether artists should sign with labels.

Of Drake — signed to Cash Money via Universal’s Republic Records — Russ said, “If Drake posts a picture on the ’Gram of his new album … and he was fully independent, Drake will make $10 million a week for f–king 60 weeks.” Stoute said.

“If Drake goes independent, the music business is done.”
