Actor Johnny Ortiz has been charged with attempted murder, according to a report.
The actor, who starred alongside Kevin Costner in “McFarland USA,” has been held on $1,120,000 bond since his arrest in May, TMZ reported.
Ortiz and another man, Armando Miguel Navarro, allegedly tried to kill Brian Duke “for the benefit of … a criminal street gang,” according to court papers obtained by the gossip site.
The actor, who appeared in “Breaking Bad” and “El Camino,” has pleaded not guilty and is due back in court on Monday.
