Jana Kramer is ready for another kind of diamond.
“We might have auditioned for a certain ‘Housewives’ thing, but we haven’t heard back yet,” Kramer, 36, teased on her “Whine Down” podcast while chatting with “RHONJ” stars Joe and Melissa Gorga.
When Melissa pressed for more information, Kramer revealed she and husband Mike Caussin auditioned for “RHOBH” during quarantine because they “weren’t doing anything else.”
The former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant later explained that she had a phone interview by herself and then a second interview with Caussin, 33.
“We did the whole FaceTime, Zoom thing,” she elaborated. “It was at the end of May. It’s been like over a month.”
And despite her friend and “RHOBH” star Teddi Mellencamp telling her that she heard it “went good,” Kramer isn’t entirely sure she could handle the pressure of becoming a “Housewife.”
“I get hated on a lot because I’m very sarcastic,” she said. “I wouldn’t want to filter myself too much … I have a hard time with criticism and I don’t know how I could handle that. I would be so afraid that we’d be eaten alive and spit out and then, like, canceled the next day.”
