Thomas Ravenel may be done with “Southern Charm,” but he’s still creating drama for his former costars.

The disgraced former politician and reality star, 57, took to Twitter on Tuesday to once again call his one-time castmate Patricia Altschul a “gold digging fame whore,” including a photo of her with an older man.

Ravenel first used the insult in a now-deleted tweet from May of this year. And, in June, he once again called Altschul a “gold digging fame whore” while also attacking her son Whitney Sudler-Smith on Twitter. “He knows deep down he can’t survive without the cash from her golddigging life’s work,” he wrote at the time.

While Ravenel quickly received backlash Twitter for his most recent remarks, the former reality star doubled-down, declaring Altschul, 79, “deserves nothing but scorn, derision and to burn in Hell.”

When asked by one follower if he stood by his opinions, Ravenel responded: “Well, that’s what she deserves but I personally wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Unlike her, I don’t try to destroy people. I only wish to reveal her true character which Bravo is flagrantly falfisying [sic].”

Another follower took Ravenel to task for his comments, writing: “By calling [Altschul] names it reflects more on your character than hers. Any man who can demean a woman is not a stand up man in my opinion. You have a daughter let’s hope no man disrespects her.”

Ravenel replied to the comment, arguing that it is wrong to “imply that women are not equal to men in that they can’t withstand scrutiny as individuals,” adding, “Shame on you!”

A fixture on “Southern Charm” for five seasons until his 2018 arrest for allegedly attacking his children’s former nanny in 2015, Ravenel is no stranger to social media controversy, both with Altschul and his other cast members.

Following Cameran Eubanks’ announcement that she was departing the show, Ravenel took to Twitter to call both Altschul and Cameran Eubanks “terrible.”

And, in August of last year, Ravenel deleted his Twitter account following the backlash he received for posting a photo of his mother posing with the children — daughter Kensie, 6, and son, Saint, 4 — that he shares with his ex-girlfriend and co-star Kathryn Dennis, 28, just days after she lost her own mother.

Representatives for Altschul did not immediately get back to us.
