The creators of “Glee” on Tuesday revealed plans to launch a college fund for Naya Rivera’s 4-year-old son — following the star’s death in a Southern California lake, according to a report.

Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan announced the new fund for Rivera’s son, Josey, in paying tribute to the 33-year-old actress, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“The three of us are currently in the process of creating a college fund for the beautiful son Naya loved most of all,” the creators said in a statement.

They remembered Rivera — who played popular cheerleader Santana Lopez on the musical series — as “warm and caring and fiercely protective of the rest of the cast.”

“Naya wasn’t a series regular when we cast her on Glee. She didn’t have more than a few lines in the pilot. But it didn’t take more than an episode or two for us to realize that we had lucked into finding one of the most talented, special stars we would ever have the pleasure of working with,” they wrote.

Rivera was found dead Monday after she went missing on a boating trip with her son in Lake Piru, about 56 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.

Authorities believe the mother and son were swimming when she hoisted her son onto their quickly drifting boat but became too exhausted to save herself.

In addition to Josey, Rivera is survived by her parents, Yolanda and George, brother, Mychal, and sister Nickayla.

“Our hearts go out to her family, especially her mom, Yolanda, who was a big part of the Glee family and her son Josey,” the creators said.
