The 27-year-old son of Lisa Marie Presley died from an “intraoral shotgun wound,” the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed to Page Six on Tuesday. The manner of death was suicide.

Keough’s autopsy was completed on Monday.

Keough died on Sunday, though initial reports claimed he shot himself in the torso.

The death of her son left Lisa Marie “entirely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated,” her manager, Roger Widynowski, said in a statement. “She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.”

Keough reportedly struggled with drugs and alcohol and had recently been to rehab.

Keough’s ex-girlfriend, Alexa Rohde, shared a touching tribute following his passing.

“You made the best jokes, and always broke the rules,” she wrote of Elvis Presley’s grandson. “You were my favorite person from the moment I met you. I wish we could’ve kept you forever Ben Ben. I hope you’re having all the delicious sushi in paradise💙words will never be enough.”
