The 62-year-old actress shared a nearly makeup-free selfie on Instagram, Wednesday, showing off her new pixie haircut and looking 20 years younger.
“Thanks so much for my happy haircut Adir!,” she captioned the snap, tagging celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel, who also works with Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Anne Hathaway.
Earlier this week, the “Basic Instinct” star posted a old shot from her pre-movie star past, writing: “We r throwing WAY back here to my modeling days abroad when I was 19.”
In a 2016 interview with NewYou magazine, the single mother of three said that she has felt pressure to go under the knife, but has always resisted.
“I can’t tell you how many doctors try to sell me a facelift,” she said. “I’ve even gone as far as having someone talk me into it, but when I went over and looked at pictures of myself, I thought, What are they going to lift? Yes, I have come close — but, frankly, I think that in the art of aging well there’s this sexuality to having those imperfections. It’s sensual.”
Continued Stone, “You have to sit down and take a good look at yourself, particularly as you grow older and your face changes. People are afraid of changing; that they’re losing something. They don’t understand that they are also gaining something.”
