In a message to followers on her Instagram Story, the NBA star’s widow explained that she had to block all Kobe and Gigi fan pages on the platform because they were too difficult to see.
“Thx so much of all the 💜,” Vanessa wrote. “@nataliabryant and I have unfortunately had to block fan pages because it’s been really hard to go online and constantly see pics of our beloved Gigi and Kobe under every single square of our explore pages. “We 💜 you all but please understand that we had to do this for our own healing not because we don’t appreciate your 💜,” she added. “Xo.”
Last week, 38-year-old Vanessa revealed she had gotten tattoos in honor of her late husband and late daughter, both of whom died in a helicopter crash in January.
Vanessa had been married to the Lakers legend since 2001. In addition to Gianna, they share daughters Natalia, 17, Bianka, 3, and Capri, nearly 1.
