Cole Sprouse has been arrested at a Black Lives Matter protest in Los Angeles. The “Riverdale” actor took to Instagram to share his experience after he and other peaceful protesters were arrested in Santa Monica. He wrote, “Black Lives Matter. Peace, riots, looting, are an absolutely legitimate form of protest.” He detailed the events in a lengthy post, noting, “We were given the option to leave, and were informed that if we did not retreat, we would be arrested.” Sprouse and others decided to leave, but ran into another line of police officers blocking their route. Shortly after, the police zip-tied him. The 27-year-old asked that the media not focus on him, as he is “uninterested in drawing attention away from the leaders of the #BLM movement.”
