Alec Baldwin popped up online to surprise graduates of Hunter College’s theater program during their virtual commencement, Page Six is told.

The fiery “30 Rock” actor — a friend of the program’s director Greg Mosher, with whom he worked on Broadway — congratulated the students.

Baldwin told the grads, who were joined by college president Jennifer Raab, “Congratulations, you made it. You made it through a bizarre finish line in these bizarre times.” He added, “We [thespians] are always there to help people process their reality even though we deal in things that are not even close to reality. People have always needed the arts, particularly the performing arts, but they are going to need it now more than ever during these weird, weird and painful times we are in.”
