While “Selling Sunset” star Christine Quinn is known for her quick wit and penchant for stirring up drama, her sky-high heels and over-the-top looks stole the show throughout Season 2.
The real estate agent-turned-reality star, 31, sported a floor-length ponytail for a dinner party and heels she could hardly walk in, and says she meticulously planned each of her on-screen outfits — often to match the homes shown on the series.

“Depending on what scene we’re shooting, I want to make sure that it looks good aesthetically,” Quinn told Page Six Style on Wednesday.
“For example, I knew that we were shooting in this gorgeous $80 million house and it happened to be very feminine and it had a lot of pink and it had a lot of purple,” she explained. “So I had seen the house prior and I said, ‘Okay, this is such a great Cher from ‘Clueless’ vibe.’”
Continued Quinn, “So I really wanted to play up the pink. I really wanted to play up the feathers. I wanted to play up the purple Balenciaga, the Chanel python bag. I really wanted to go along with my environment, and I thought it looked so great in the scene because I matched the house that I loved.”
The blond beauty is especially particular when it comes to her hair.
“My favorite interview look was every time I had a high ponytail,” she said. “Every time I have a high ponytail, I always feel like I’m ready to stir up some s—t, like I’m ready for the day.”
She put together all the looks for the show herself, even taking her glam into her own hands.
“I do all of my own styling. I do all of my own makeup unless it’s an interview look, and I pride myself on that,” Quinn shared. “I love being creative and for me, it’s just so fun.”

“I know that a lot of people outsource for that, but I’m just so great at it and I love doing it myself because I’m kind of a control freak, obviously — I don’t know if you’ve noticed,” she laughed.
“If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself. So I take so much pride in styling myself and I’m just so flattered that people are asking me, ‘Who’s your stylist?’ I’m like, ‘My husband’s credit card is my stylist! What do you mean?’”
Indeed, in a confessional scene from Season 2, Quinn admits to online shopping with husband Christian Richard’s card while he was asleep. “I have a hundred percent leeway. He let me do whatever I want,” she told us.
“And also, I make money on my own. But why spend your own money when you can spend someone else’s money? My husband is very supportive of that. So it was more that he was more getting annoyed by the notifications, which is why I was swiping them away. But he’s always aware of what I’m doing and spending.”
“I really just wanted to make a joke of it, you know?” she added. “Some people call it fraud, I call it love.”
