Pierce Brosnan is one proud dad.

The 67-year-old actor celebrated his son Dylan’s graduation from the University of Southern California on Sunday, days after USC held a virtual commencement for the Class of 2020 due to the coronavirus crisis.

“Congratulations Dylan on your graduation and academic achievements at USC School of Cinematic Arts,” Brosnan captioned the family shots on Instagram. “Go forth into this new world and make it your own. Be fearless, courageous and generous. Love, Dad.”

Brosnan’s wife of 19 years, Keely Shaye Smith, also celebrated Dylan’s achievement with a separate social media tribute.

“Heartfelt congratulations Dylan Thomas on your graduation from the #USC School of Cinematic Arts! ✨ Bravo class of #2020 #quarantinelife,” she posted to Instagram.

In addition to Dylan, 23, Brosnan and Shaye Smith, a journalist and author, share 19-year-old son Paris. Both men served as Golden Globe Ambassadors this year.

“Our mom called us when we were both in film school,” Dylan said in a 2019 interview with Variety. “We went out of class to take the call and she said you guys have been asked to be the Golden Globe ambassadors and we couldn’t believe it, we were over the moon.”

Brosnan and Shaye Smith aren’t the only celebrity parents celebrating college graduations in quarantine. Earlier this month, Heather Locklear congratulated daughter Ava Sambora, who recently wrapped her senior year at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
