Cara Delevingne is defending ex-girlfriend Ashley Benson after the former “Pretty Little Liars” star was spotted kissing G-Eazy.
“It’s more important now than ever to spread love, not hate,” Delevingne, 27, wrote on her Instagram Story. “To everyone hating on @ashleybenson please stop. You don’t know the truth, only her and I do and that’s exactly how it should be.”
Benson, 30, and Delevigne broke up in early April after nearly two years together. Benson since has been having a “fling” with the “Good Life” musician, People reported, after working on a cover of Radiohead’s “Creep” together.
Earlier this week, Benson and G-Eazy were seen grabbing takeout together in Los Angeles with another couple, further fueling rumors that they’re an item, but the actress appeared to try to dispel the hearsay by “liking” an Instagram post that said she’s allowed to have friends.
“You can’t say they are dating just because of a like and some comments,” the post reads. “Can’t Ashley have friends now? STOP SAYING ASHLEY CHEATED! OR EVEN CARA! They just needs friends right now more than ever!”
