Olivia Jade Giannulli heaped praise on her mom, Lori Loughlin, in a Mother’s Day tribute Sunday – saying she was “so proud” of the actress who is still battling charges in the college admissions scandal.
The 20-year-old beauty influencer shared two throwback photos of herself and the “Full House” star, writing she was “so blessed” to have her as a mom.
“You are my best friend and have held my hand every day for 20 years making it look like motherhood is an easy job. You are one of a kind,” Giannulli wrote on Instagram.
She continued: “Thank you for being you. You are the most special person to me. I am so blessed to be your daughter and so proud to call you mom.”
Loughlin, 55, and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, 56, are accused of paying $500,000 to get Olivia and her sister, Isabella Rose Giannulli, into the University of Southern California as bogus rowing recruits.
The couple has pleaded not guilty, claiming they believed the money was a legitimate donation.
They are set to go to trial in October after a federal judge on Friday refused to dismiss the charges against the couple and other wealthy parents accused of cheating to get their kids into college.
