Jim Edmonds is doing his part to help combat coronavirus.

The former MLB star, 49, donated his plasma at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis on Monday, over a month after he tested positive for COVID-19.

“After Jim got well he asked his doctor if there was anything he could do to help and his doctor suggested he donate antibodies to help people who had serious cases of the virus,” his rep, Steve Honig, told Page Six.

Edmonds was tested for the virus in March after he took a trip to Nashville with his daughter Hayley, 22, and friends.

He is now quarantining in his Missouri mansion with his new girlfriend, Kortnie O’Connor.

Edmonds is the latest celebrity to try to use their blood for good.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson donated their plasma last week in California after recovering from coronavirus. Meanwhile, Andy Cohen attempted to donate plasma but was refused the opportunity because of his sexual orientation.
