The quarantine life has been “a prolonged honeymoon” for newlyweds Tim Tebow and wife Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters
“People ask us how’s married life been, well, we’ve been in quarantine for most of it,” Nel-Peters recently said on E!”s “The Isolation Room,” adding she still likes Tebow “a lot” in close quarters.
In January, Mets prospect Tebow wed Nel-Peters, a former Miss Universe, in her native South Africa. The couple announced their engagement in early 2019 after less than a year of dating.
Three months into their marriage, Tebow, 32, and Nel-Peters, 24, have also expanded their family with three canine additions, announcing the Tebow pack on Instagram in late March.
The decision to get a dog has been in the making for some time following the death of Tebow’s beloved Bronco last year.

“Our last stop at Night to Shine [a prom-like experience sponsored Tebow’s foundation], they had this amazing Dalmatian that was a therapy dog, making every kid laugh and smile,” Tebow shared. “The sweetest dog ever.”
The former NFL quarterback then revealed Nel-Peters went on a hunt for a Dalmatian of their own, leading to Paris, who is also deaf.
“I said, ‘Aw, babe. I’m so sorry,’ and she’s like, ‘What are you talking about, sorry? Are you kidding me? We have to go get her now, like cause no one else is going to get her. We’re getting her. Who would I be if we didn’t get her cause she’s deaf?’ Yes, ma’am, I got the keys, and we were in the car,” Tebow said.
Tebow and Nel-Peters came back with Paris and two more pups, Bernese Mountain dog Chunk and Kobe, a Golden Retriever.
“We had to get two brothers to hang with,” Tebow said.
Tebow has his hands full these days, balancing insane quarantine workouts and his dogs’ Instagram account. A double-tap for adorable.
