Troubled “Mighty Ducks” star Shaun Weiss has been “thriving” since entering rehab following his drug-related arrest earlier this year, a close pal said on Facebook.

Drew Gallagher, who has been posting frequent updates about Weiss, shared a new photo of the 41-year-old on March 26 that shows the former actor appearing to have put on a healthy amount of weight.

“Shaun is in a great new facility and is thriving!,” Gallagher captioned the pic. “THATS the most important thing.”

On Jan. 28, Weiss was arrested for allegedly breaking into a California home while on meth, according to police.

Gallagher said on March 9 that he and another friend had set up Weiss with a 90-day program to help him get back on track with his sobriety.

A GoFundMe page was created to raise funds for the former child star’s medical and mental health bills.

“His loss of his parents sent him into a depression and so he turned to drugs,” Gallagher wrote in the profile. He set a goal of $25,000, and reassured donors that “not one penny will be touched by Shaun for drugs.” As of Tuesday, $9,045 has been raised.

On March 12, Gallagher shared on Facebook that, following Weiss’ release from jail, the actor “almost closed down [a] breakfast spot due to eating everything in their kitchen.”

Gallagher, who is an actor, added that Weiss’ “spirits are elevated” and the pair had “laughed and cried multiple times” on the way to his treatment center.

Weiss has been struggling with substance abuse issues for years.

In addition to his January arrest, Weiss was busted for public intoxication in August 2018, and arrested again for shoplifting just months later.

While Gallagher shared on March 19 that “things are GREAT thus far,” another friend cautioned that Weiss is still in the “early days” of recovery.

Gallagher responded, “Yes I am completely aware the journey is long and arduous. The thing is, this is the longest he’s been completely sober since he was 16. This was also the best I’ve ever heard him sound, ever. Staying sober will be Shauns trouble even more so than getting sober. I am celebrating the excellent first week and cautiously optimistic he can keep this momentum rolling.”
