Grammy-winner Billie Eilish has made a habit of draping her frame in loose-fitting clothing in an effort not to be sexualized by the masses. After sharing one photo of herself in a bathing suit, however, the 18-year-old was immediately slut-shamed, and is now opening up about the experience three months later.
“I saw comments like, ‘How dare she talk about not wanting to be sexualized and wear this?!’” she told Dazed magazine. The photo in question is sandwiched between several others she shared on Instagram from a trip to Kaua’i, Hawaii in January.

“It was trending,” she continued. “There were comments like, ‘I don’t like her anymore because as soon as she turns 18 she’s a whore.’ Like, dude. I can’t win.”
In a May 2019 interview with Teen Vogue, the “Bad Guy” artist addressed her signature baggy sense of style.
“Nobody can have an opinion [on my body] because they haven’t seen what’s underneath. Nobody can be like, ‘she’s slim-thick,’ ‘she’s not slim-thick,’ ‘she’s got a flat ass,’ ‘she’s got a fat ass.’ No one can say any of that because they don’t know.”
