Cue the Shania Twain.
Like the rest of the nation, Sandra Lee has had her eyes glued to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo — and his nipples — during the coronavirus pandemic, which can make it hard for a person to move on from a breakup like the two had in September.
“I get up and I see what the latest news is. Of course I watch Andrew live,” Lee, 49, said in a recent New York Times profile. “And then share with him my thoughts.”
“He’s still my guy,” she adds, cryptically, “Neither one of us, well, as far as I know, has had a date.”
“We share a home, we share children, we share friendship,” she added. “I will protect him and be there for him until the day I die.”
Of course, it’s got to be hard for Cuomo, 62, to find time to date while dealing with a pandemic, and Lee has been keeping busy finding celebrity cats at her home in LA, so it’s understandable that neither one of them has been in a rush to move on. But there’s apparently hope for all you gubernatorial shippers out there.
