Coronavirus can’t rain on their parade.
Gwyneth Paltrow‘s son, Moses Martin, might have celebrated his 14th birthday on Wednesday while in quarantine, but that didn’t stop his friends from driving by his home to help him commemorate the day — from a distance.
“Socially distanced birthday parade for Moses!” Paltrow, 47, wrote over a video clip of Moses’ pals pulling up to their home in two black SUVs that featured “Happy Birthday” messages written on them, posters, and balloons.
“We got you candy!” one friend, who remained inside the vehicle at all times, shouted from the roof.
Paltrow told her son, “Oh my God! Go grab it!”
The teen then quickly ran up to the car to retrieve the bag and returned to his front entrance.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued guidelines for how people can help prevent the spread of coronavirus, which has killed over 88,000 worldwide.
The recommendations include staying at least six feet away from other people, avoiding gathering in groups, and staying out of crowded places.
On Wednesday, Paltrow also paid tribute to her teen son on Instagram with a slideshow.

“This kid is the best and he is 14 today. Unbelievable,” she captioned the post. “He is the kindest little man and he has the most unique way of looking at the world and expressing himself.”
The “Iron Man” star continued, “Mosey, I could not be more proud of you in every way. You conquer all you set out to do, you never quit, you are immensely talented and a great friend. I hope you never stop hugging me goodbye when you go into the next room. I love you.”
Paltrow’s celebrity pals wished Moses a happy birthday, including Reese Witherspoon, who wrote in the comments, “What a wonderful young man! Happy Bday Moses!”
Kate Hudson added, “Moses! Happy birthday sweetheart!!!”
Moses is Paltrow’s son with her ex-husband, Chris Martin. She also shares a 15-year-old daughter, Apple Martin, with the Coldplay frontman.
