Jennifer Aniston and Jimmy Kimmel are doing their small part to assist those in need during the current coronavirus pandemic, gifting a nurse who tested positive for COVID-19 with a $10K gift card towards the delivery service Postmates.

Kimmel welcomed Kimball Fairbanks — a cardiovascular nurse from St. George, Utah — to “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” via webcam Thursday night. She revealed that she was diagnosed with coronavirus earlier this week and has been furloughed from work. She must self-isolate for two weeks.

“I kind of felt like I got hit by a train, but I think I just have really mild symptoms,” she said, adding that her “decently manageable” symptoms compare to having both a cold and the flu at once.

To cheer up the frontline healthcare worker, Kimmel brought former “Friends” star Aniston into the chat, who told Fairbanks, “I just have to say God bless you and all of you that are out there, doing what you’re doing. I don’t even know how to express my gratitude to everything that you guys are doing and putting your health at risk and all of that. You’re just phenomenal.”

Fairbanks then revealed that she hasn’t been able to cook while distancing herself from her family and has been relying on food delivery services.

“That’s good cause you know what Jimmy cooked up?” said Aniston quipped. “You’re gonna be getting a $10,000 gift certificate from Postmates.”

Kimmel followed up, “Oh behalf of all of us, I think Jen said it very well, we are very, very grateful to what you and all these health care workers are doing. It’s so far above and beyond. It really is unbelievable.

The late-night host is currently honoring medical personnel with online hashtag #HealthCareHero.
