Page Six has learned that the Oscar-nominated actress, 43, donated snack boxes to emergency room and intensive care unit staff working with COVID-19 patients at Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side. The boxes, which were seen by Page Six, each came with a personal note from Chastain.
“Thank you for being the Superhero we need right now,” the notes read. “I hope this little nourishment will remind you that there are millions out there grateful for what you do. I know I am. With love, Jessica Chastain.”
Inside the boxes were cupcakes, cookies and caramel corn from Tenth and Pike Sweet Shop, as well as Kind bars and peanuts.
A rep for Chastain didn’t return Page Six’s request for comment.
