The pop star, 27, announced on Tuesday that $5 for every item sold from her new Fabletics collection — up to $125K total — will go towards the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
“I’ve really been going back and forth on if this was the right time,” Lovato wrote in the announcement, confirming that the collaboration — her second with the brand — will launch on April 2 as planned.
“But decided this is a time to provide inspiration for my fans at home and to help those in need.”

Lovato added that she hoped her workout gear would help boost shoppers’ moods. “In addition to lifting up those in need right now, it’s so important for us all to feel empowered, invincible and strong from the inside out,” she wrote. “My collection is designed to do just that — uplifting you with bold colors and amazing contouring for the biggest confidence boost.”
Fashion designers like Ralph Lauren, Donatella Versace, Giorgio Armani and more have pledged millions of dollars towards coronavirus relief efforts; celebrities including Kim Kardashian and Victoria Beckham have also announced that proceeds from their brands’ sales will benefit COVID-19-related causes.
