The Hamptons continues to cope with an influx of folks who’ve fled the city.

A source at Stop & Shop in East Hampton said of the scene Sunday: “It was way overcrowded, with some aisles having 20 or 30 people … There was no social distancing … They sent security to one aisle and asked people to disperse.”

We’re told the store put up barriers for cashiers, and set up a line for people to be 6 feet apart.

Page Six reported that a local government wants a travel ban on a stream of city dwellers headed out East. A pol said locals “are finding it difficult to meet even their most basic needs.”
