Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T, stars of “Law and order: SVU,” are mourning one of their own crew members who died Thursday due to complications from the coronavirus.

Josh Wallwork, who was a costumer for the long-running NBC crime show, as well as “Madam Secretary,” passed away at the age of 45 after contracting COVID-19, showrunner Warren Leight said.

Leight shared a picture from one of Wallwork’s family friends, stating, “Very sad news today. One of our costumers, and a beautiful man, Josh Wallwork, passed away from complications of Covid-19 … Cast and crew send love and prayers to his family and friends. We are heartbroken.”

Hargitay also took to Twitter to express her heartbreak at the news of her friends passing.

Ice-T, who plays Sgt. Tutuola on the show, said that he worked with Wallwork every day, and pleaded that everyone should pay attention to what is going and take social distancing measures very seriously.
