Is there anything he can’t do?

Stevie Nicks has provided fans with an update on how she’s doing amid the coronavirus pandemic, and nestled within it was the news that she’s begun writing songs again — thanks to Harry Styles‘ new album.

“Dear Everyone, I know you are doing everything you can to help the situation we are all in,” Nicks wrote on Twitter. “I am staying in with my Goddaughters and my assistant Karen — and all our dogs — Lily, Luna and Mana — trying to think of creative things to do.”

“I am getting all my paintings and drawings out — listening to music (mostly Harry Styles’ ‘Fine Line’) and being inspired by him to write some new songs and poetry. Way to go H — it is your ‘Rumours.’”

That’s quite the one-two punch: The last new song Nicks released was “Your Hand I Will Never Let It Go,” in 2017, which appeared in “The Book of Henry.” (Prior to that, her most recent album was 2014’s “24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault.”) And calling anyone’s album “your ‘Rumours’” is quite a thing — Fleetwood Mac’s record, famously composed over a year-long period in which the entire band was involved in varying levels of breakups, is one of the best-selling records of all time.

“Fine Line” closed out last year by debuting at No. 1 on the “Billboard” charts. For the moment, Styles appears to be banking that his album tour will be unaffected by the coronavirus pandemic: He’s actually added extra dates to it last week.
