Hannah Brown‘s attempt to “spread some love” amid the coronavirus pandemic didn’t sit well with critics.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, the “Bachelorette” alum — who has been quarantining in Florida with former love Tyler Cameron — posted bikini-clad snaps with the caption: “What’s more contagious than a smile 😊 Just trying to spread some love here rather than fear, not making light of the situation.”
While some fans double-tapped the post, others responded to Brown’s choice of words.
“Quite literally, the coronavirus,” one commenter responded.
“Corona… start social distancing,” another replied.
“The insensitivity to a virus that is killing thousands of people…,” one wrote.
There are over 15,000 cases of coronavirus in the US, according to the CDC, and there have been 201 deaths.
Brown, 25, who appeared on “The Bachelorette” last summer, also hosted a quarantine workout session with Cameron, 27, on Instagram Live last week.
