Stoned Seth Rogen live-tweets ‘Cats’ amid Chinese virus outbreak

The 37-year-old comedian took to Twitter to share his thoughts about watching the movie “Cats” while high.

Seth Rogen is pressing paws on all the Chinese coronavirus panic.

The 37-year-old comedian took to Twitter to share his thoughts about watching the movie “Cats” while high.

“I’m pretty stoned and watching Cats. I’ve never seen the broadway show. It is truly trippy,” he tweeted on Tuesday night, adding, “Am I supposed to know what a Jellicle is? They’ve said it 200,000 times but I don’t know what’s happening haha.”

Rogen didn’t hold back with commentary, sharing his deepest pothead ponderings.

“Also the scale is bizarre. The behind the scenes features, which are amazing, said the set is 2.5 times scale but that would mean cats are like 60 pounds in real life!,” he tweeted, adding later, “These cats are like 2 feet tall in this world. That’s a huge f–king cat.”

Other gems include, “They made them go to cat school,” “Some cats in pants. Some no pants,” “‘Let’s make 35 nonsense songs introducing cats!’ – The makers of cats,” and “Some cats get high heels which is funny to picture in real life.”

On some of the film’s big stars he wrote, “Jason Derulos (sic) feet don’t look like they’re touching the ground,” “Judi dench looks the most cuddly,” “Ian Mckellan just straight up has normal fingers,” and, “Judi Dench is in a cat fur coat which I can only assume is socially APPALLING in this world.”

And of the special effects, he added, “CG cat people dancing is odd. Is it impressive? I don’t know!” and “A lot of neon lights at knee height in London in the 30’s.”

Rogen provided the internet with some much-needed entertainment, with several fans thanking the star for his live-tweeting.

“Seth, you just lifted about three weeks worth of depression from my weary shoulders. Thank you,” wrote one fan.

“god bless you,” tweeted another.

“This feed made my night,” said one more.

Eventually, Rogen switched to reality tv and urged fans to stay healthy.

“Alright I’m turning this off and watching 90 day fiancé,” he wrote. “Good night. Stay clean as f–k.”
