The model and social media personality targeted her ire particularly at the first lady’s decision to promote a White House tennis pavilion on Twitter in early March.
“Has melania even thought about doing something with her be best s–t during these times? I see regular ass awesome people on my timeline all day doing all they can to make people happy and this wifebot is working on whatever the f–k a tennis gazebo is,” Teigen tweeted Tuesday, shortly after her husband, musician John Legend, live-streamed a concert.
“ALL I have seen this bot do is gently touch Christmas ornaments in a cape and stare in a cape and pat statues in a different cape and then change her cape into a rude ass jacket. F–k you,” she added.
And, “I expect Donald to be a do nothing f–king loser wimp but she could maybe possibly try to uhhh BE BETTER possibly the best be the best the best be best.”
Teigen, who was seen drinking rosé wine earlier Tuesday during a cooking session she posted on Twitter, had admitted just ahead of her Melania tweets, “f–k im so drunk from the streams and I have a Skype therapy session in 20 mins.”
Her tweets about the first lady were met with a mixed messages from fans on social media, with one writing, “Keep applying the alcohol.”
Despite Teigen’s criticism about the first lady’s coronavirus response, Melania Trump has spent recent days tweeting out advice to the public and messages of support to those on the front lines of the pandemic.
She tweeted on Monday, “I want to take a moment to thank the medical staff, doctors, nurses & first responders who are working tirelessly to help keep our country healthy & safe.”
On Wednesday, she highlighted how people can help their communities by donating blood, running errands for at-risk neighbors, and donating money to non-profits. Melania wrote on Twitter, “If we support one another through this challenging time, America will come out stronger in the end.”
And on March 10, Melania gave remarks on cyberbullying to the National PTA legislative conference, urging parents and teachers to prepare children for the negativity that comes online, saying, “As parents, adults, educators, and community leaders, it is our responsibility to ensure our children are being taught the importance of positive ways to interact with each other and prepare them for attacks and negativity they could receive in this new digital age.”
