Chad Johnson will have to face the music at a later date.

The “Bachelorette” alum’s domestic violence court date was pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic forcing the Los Angeles court system to close temporarily, USA GAG can confirm.

“Yes the Courts are closed today,” Rob Wilcox, director of community engagement and outreach for the Office of Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer, told Page Six on Tuesday. “The defendant should be arraigned Friday.”

Johnson, 32, was previously scheduled to appear at Van Nuys Courthouse West on Tuesday, March 17, since he is facing six misdemeanor charges following an alleged dispute with his on-again, off-again girlfriend Annalise Mishler.

The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office previously told us the reality star was charged with one count of corporal injury, one count of assault and battery, one count of witness intimidation, one count of trespassing and two counts of vandalism — stemming from his Feb. 24 arrest.

Johnson was taken into custody for domestic violence and robbery after he allegedly became physical with Mishler and grabbed her phone as she attempted to call for help.

The “Bachelorette” alum blamed his behavior on his drinking, but denied any domestic violence abuse took place.

“I was taken to jail for that and while she was talking to [the police], she told them about how I had thrown her phone, so that was the robbery issue,” he explained on his Instagram Stories. “Now, there was never any domestic abuse of any kind. I have never laid hands on a woman any time in my entire life.”

All “non-essential” Los Angeles County court proceedings were suspended through Thursday.

Page Six has reached out to Johnson for comment.

As of Tuesday afternoon, there have been more than 182,000 cases of coronavirus worldwide more than 7,500 deaths.
