Kris Jenner did not contract the coronavirus after attending a birthday party for music executive Sir Lucian Grainge, who tested positive for the infectious illness on Monday.

“Kris wasn’t sick and didn’t have any symptoms, but since she was in contact with someone who tested positive, she took the test,” a source told ET. “Jenner luckily tested negative for coronavirus.”

Despite being asymptomatic, the unnamed source said the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” matriarch decided to get checked to “make sure she was being proactive in getting tested.”

Page Six learned Grainge had been hospitalized with coronavirus just over two weeks after celebrating his 60th birthday with Jenner, 64, and other celebrities like Apple CEO Tim Cook, legendary music manager Irving Azoff, British billionaire Philip Green, top entertainment attorney Allen Grubman and Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick.

“The party was just close friends, no artists or Universal executives,” a source told us. “It was 16 days ago, and while we are concerned about Lucien, everybody else in the group is fine, to my knowledge.”

Jenner has not commented on her test results but thanked medical staffers for the hard work they are doing to prevent the spread of the illness.

“Thank you to ALL of our healthcare workers, doctors and nurses on the front lines for your dedication and service during this time,” she tweeted on Monday. “Stay kind, be safe, we are in this together.”

Other A-listers who have tested positive for COVID-19, include Rita Wilson, Tom Hanks, Idris Elba, and more.
