What does shadowstep do in Wow?
Shadowstep is a level 18 Assassination and Subtlety rogue ability. It teleports the player behind a target and gives them a short movement speed increase buff. [Intent to Kill] (Assassination honor talent) reduces the cooldown by 66% when used on a target marked by the rogue's [Vendetta].
What is the difference between shadowstep and teleport?
For the skill of the same name, see Shadowstep. Shadowstep is a mechanic that allows the user to move instantly from one location to another. Unlike teleport, most shadowstep skills require a target (some skills require a target area instead) in order to perform a move.
What is the cooldown for shadowstep in hotfix?
Hotfix (2011-05-04): Shadowstep is instantly teleporting players behind their target when the target is in motion. Patch 4.0.6 (2011-02-08): Cooldown has been increased to 24 seconds, up from 20 seconds.
Why can’t I use my shadowstep skill in WvW?
Unfortunately, it is not uncommon to be completely unable to use a ground targeted shadowstep skill in certain types of terrain, notably on/around many walls in WvW. Shadowstep skills will not activate if a valid path to the target point cannot be found, except when it acts as a stun breaker.
