How to Enable Trust Wallet's DApp Browser?

In a recent Trust Wallet tutorial, we discussed how to enable the Trust wallet's DApp browser. Unfortunately, Apple iOS users no longer have access to this feature.

This change affected only iOS users who installed the update after June 22nd, 2020; Android users were unaffected. According to Trust Wallet, they removed this DApp feature to comply with the new App Store Guidelines.

Fortunately, there is a way to avoid using the Trust Wallet DApp browser on iOS devices and reconnect to your favorite DApps. By following these steps, you will be able to resume using DApps from your Trust Wallet.

What exactly is Trust Wallet?

Viktor Radchenko founded Trust Wallet in 2017 and was later acquired by Binance in their first public acquisition in July 2018. Trust is a decentralized secure crypto mobile wallet that is available for both iOS and Android. Users can purchase and store crypto/NFTs, as well as connect to supported DApps.

The Trust Wallet browser is a full-featured Web3 browser that can interact with any DApp. Furthermore, it establishes a simple and secure link between you and any Binance Smart Chain or Ethereum-based DApps. PancakeSwap, SushiSwap, and UniSwap are just a few examples.

Wallet Discover is a trustworthy feature.

Trust released "Discover" as a result of its dispute with Apple, which prevented iOS users from using the DApp browser. According to Trust wallet, the Discover feature should make navigating the crypto world easier and help users stay on top of the crypto markets.

In the video tutorial below, we show you how to access the Discover tab, as well as how to easily view staking options, lending/borrowing, and tokens within Trust wallet. Then, from within the wallet, I'll show you how to connect to DeFi Dapps like SushiSwap and UniSwap.
