Meghan King and Cuffe Biden Owens, Joe Biden's nephew, divorced after two months of marriage

In May, the former 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star divorced former MLB slugger Jim Edmonds.

Meghan O'Toole King of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" and Joe Biden's nephew, Cuffe Biden Owens, are avoiding mistletoe kisses this Christmas season.

The couple announced their separation after only two months of marriage.

On Friday, a source informed Page Six, "She has told pals they broke up."

The former couple confirmed their romance on Instagram in September, and after a flashing engagement, they married a month later on Oct. 11 in Pennsylvania.

The wedding was characterized by the White House as a "small, family wedding at Valerie and Jack Owens' home."

King’s previous husband, former big league slugger Jim Edmonds, whom she shares three children with, told the Daily Mail he "thought it was a joke" when she and Biden said their "I dos."

Edmonds filed for divorce in October 2019 after a sexting scandal and an alleged affair with their children’s nanny that he denied.

"They’d been dating for about four weeks!" Edmonds added to the Daily Mail.

However, King, 37, said she had no doubt Biden Owens, 42, was the one for her.

"We just knew," King captioned an Instagram snapshot of the pair, who were wearing huge smiles after exchanging vows at the time. "I'd like to introduce Mr. and Mrs. Owens," she said.

Owens is the son of Valerie Biden Owens, Biden's younger sister and political consultant.

"We met on a dating app, texted for a day or two, then spent five straight hours on the phone the first time we spoke," King revealed in an interview with Brides magazine.

"Cuffe was booked and prepared for a trip to St. Louis that took departure in around eight hours by the time the call concluded. We were back on the East Coast within a week, seeing his family and beginning to plan our future together "she said. "For weeks, we didn't leave one other's side."

GAG News reached out to representatives for King and Owens for comment, but they did not immediately reply.
