Amazon wants the whole country to know it’s hiring.

The e-commerce juggernaut is hosting a virtual career day next week with the goal of filling 33,000 corporate and tech jobs nationwide.

Amazon traditionally holds its annual career day at locations around the US, but this year is is doing it as an all-digital affair due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Every Amazon job offered at the Sept. 16 event will have minimum pay of $15/hour, as well as “health insurance, up to 20 weeks of parental leave, and company-funded upskilling opportunities,” the retail giant said.

The job fair will also include 20,000 free virtual career coaching sessions hosted by Amazon’s recruiters. The open jobs include positions in Amazon’s Alexa, AWS and Prime Video arms, with “thousands of additional hourly roles in Amazon’s Operations network to be announced soon.”

Registration for Amazon Career Day is free and available on the company’s website.

Amazon’s HR chief Beth Galetti framed the job fair as a way for Americans to get back to work in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We’ve created more jobs in the US over the past decade than any other company,” she said in a prepared statement. “We are glad to be able to mobilize more than 1,000 experienced recruiters and HR professionals to help job seekers across the country learn about opportunities at Amazon and elsewhere.”

Shares of Amazon were up 1.3 percent Thursday morning, with the stock trading at $3,311.99.
