“Pink is punk,” according to Kaia Gerber.
The 18-year-old model showed off a brand-new look on Instagram Tuesday night, after enlisting the help of professional stylist Guido Palau for an IGTV video of the entire process.
Gerber left some of her dark roots a light brown shade and used Whittemore House’s rosy hair paint on the ends, which she recently lightened to a bright blond with the help of the same salon via Zoom.
While many of the young star’s friend and fans were wowed by her new look, makeup artist Ash Holm was particularly excited. “Imagine the makeup looks we can do…,” she wrote.
Designer Marc Jacobs may be the next to switch up his hair color; “That was so much fun! Love the pink. I have plans to go Lilac,” he commented on Palau’s post. Jacobs and Gerber will be joining a slew of celebs who have dyed their hair bright colors during the coronavirus pandemic, including Dua Lipa, Sarah Hyland, Kim Kardashian and more.
