“Honestly, I need an endorsement for my toes. I’ve been wearing white toes probably like four years straight,” the Bay Area native, 26, told Page Six Style.
“I’ve taken a break from the long nails; my fans keep saying, ‘Saweetie, what’s going on? You have not put on long nails in a while.’ But I’m so rough and I just started playing sports again like volleyball, football, recreational activities with my family. So I haven’t really been into long nails unless they are press-on.”

But ever since the “Tap In” rapper rocketed to superstardom thanks to her hit singles and famous boyfriend Quavo, she’s been feeling pressure to always look her best.
“When I moved to LA I got to start doing makeup, so it made me grow up real fast,” she said. “It made me want to dress good and look good because, you know, you’re out with the top-tiers. I couldn’t afford getting my makeup beat every time, so I had to figure out the best products that work for me. So I think just being in a fast city that does fast s—t made me step up. Seeing people look good all the time made me wanna look good all the time as well.”
The star cited The Crayon Case by Reynell “Supa Cent” Steward and Nars as some of her favorite beauty brands.
When it comes to her skin, Saweetie says she “had a pizza face” during puberty, but her mom helped her develop a good skincare regimen, which she’s stuck to ever since. However, it’s her hair that’s the MC’s pride and joy — and she’s not willing to sacrifice its health for the sake of a shocking new color or style.
“I care about my hair. I did a lot to maintain it, and I’m gonna make sure you’re not damaging my hair for one look. You are not damaging my hair for this one moment. I love my hair, so you got to be really careful,” the half black, half Chinese-Filipino star explained.
“I always approach the situation nicely the first time and second time. But if you keep playing with my hair, I’m gonna be a bitch,” she continued. “I don’t care if that offends you, because I tried nicely twice and you’re not listening. So I think that’s the part where it can kind of get uncomfortable, because I’m trying to protect myself and I’m trying to protect my hair. But if you’re not listening, it’s only human for me to get irritated because you’re burning my hair or you’re doing something that’s damaging to it and I can’t afford that.“
Fans can certainly continue to expect head-turning beauty looks from the “Pretty Bitch Music” star.
