The iPhone maker during its WWDC developers conference also announced that its new Apple Watch operating system will feature a timer designed to encourage users to wash their hands as thoroughly as possible.

The system will automatically recognize when hands are being washed thanks to its built-in microphone and motion sensors, and will vibrate to prompt users to keep on scrubbing if it senses they stop before the CDC-recommended 20 seconds.
