With extended stay-at-home orders leaving precious few paparazzi opportunities, how’s a celebrity couple to flaunt their bond while still staying safe?
For a number of smitten stars quarantining together during the COVID-19 pandemic, the answer seems to be matching face masks.
On Monday, engaged duo Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, who have been hunkering down in Miami for the past few months, enjoyed a bike ride while wearing identical gray masks adorned with yellow smiley faces.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, meanwhile, stepped out for some fresh air last week in coordinating camouflage-print face coverings from Sanctuary ($28 for five), with the pregnant “Game of Thrones” star in a green version and her rocker husband in a gray one. For every mask purchased, the brand is donating one to an organization in need.

Unsurprisingly, Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas — who already sport matching heart necklaces and shared shirts — are also on board with his-and-hers masks. They’ve been spotted in the same Sanctuary camo coverings as well as in colorful matching floral masks.

Matching or not, wearing a mask in public is certainly a smart idea; the CDC currently recommends that all Americans wear cloth face coverings in public to slow the spread of COVID-19.
