Kelly Ripa isn’t just lounging around in sweatpants.

The “Live With Kelly and Ryan” host, 49, recently revealed that she’s taken a liking to caftans while stuck at home — and even sported one on a recent episode.

“Don’t adjust your dials, I am wearing a caftan,” she told co-host Ryan Seacrest while showing off her floral look. “I think Mark bought this for me, I want to say, 10 or 12 years ago, I think for my birthday? I don’t really recall the occasion.”

She threw on the outfit as a last resort after exhausting all of her clothing options at home. She got so desperate at one point that she started pulling from 18-year-old daughter Lola’s closet and enlisting her to do hair and makeup.

“If you don’t want to wear clothes, but you don’t want to commit to pajamas, you can wear a caftan,” Ripa said. “I’ve always worn caftans … I wear them at night, I wear them at home.” She even said that all of her friends and family refer to her as “Mrs. Roper,” after Audra Lindley’s iconic “Three’s Company” character.

Besides her dwindling wardrobe, Ripa has also been sharing updates on her gray hair, calling it “root watch.”

It seems the star’s affection for flowing garments runs in the family; Ripa later shared an Instagram photo of her mother from 1975, dubbing her the “original caftan/kaftan wearer.”

Ripa isn’t alone in her obsession; Naomi Campbell collects caftans once owned by Elizabeth Taylor, and Chrissy Teigen recently showed off her entire rack of brightly colored and expensive robes.
