The sibling design duo behind the New York-based luxury cashmere sweater line Leret Leret are doing their part to help those hardest hit by the coronavirus pandemic — and they’re enlisting the aid of some of their high-profile fans to spread the word.

Edouard and Andrea Leret have partnered with God’s Love We Deliver to donate 25% of all sales to the nonprofit, which cooks and delivers medically tailored meals to individuals too sick to shop or cook for themselves. The organization’s latest initiative, #WhoAreYouCookingFor, aims to send 100,000 meals to New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other severe illnesses.

“Leret Leret have been my go-to sweaters [while filming] from home, and God’s Love We Deliver is one of my go-to charities — so their partnership is kismet,” brand fan Andy Cohen, who can often be spotted on Instagram in the label’s ethical knits, told Page Six Style.

“It’s a very smart and conscious initiative of the brand,” added designer and former “Project Runway” judge Zac Posen. “Especially now, at such an important time with so many in need.”

Meanwhile, Caroline Vreeland — the singer-songwriter whose maternal great-grandmother happens to be the legendary Vogue editor Diana Vreeland — said she was “thrilled” to be a part of the project.

“The fact that God’s Love We Deliver and Leret Leret have been able to provide more than 8,000 meals so far to vulnerable New Yorkers during this unprecedented and uncertain time is massive,” she told us.

Other celebrities have heeded Leret Leret’s call and taken to social media to share the #WhoAreYouCookingFor campaign while donning the brand’s sweaters, including Yolanda Hadid, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, as well as the current reigning Miss America, Camille Schrier, and Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi.

According to David Ludwigson, vice president and chief development officer at God’s Love We Deliver, the support from the label — and its celebrity fans — comes at a time when it is needed most. “We’re so grateful to Leret Leret for getting behind this campaign by raising awareness in their community with these beautiful, timeless sweaters,” he told us.

The Lerets said that partnering with the nonprofit was their way of supporting the city during the pandemic. “By joining forces with God’s Love We Deliver, we can address one of the most essential — and currently most challenging — needs,” the duo explained. “As a small business in the city, we felt it was imperative to help our fellow New Yorkers in some way.”
