Kelly Ripa may be stranded without her usual designer wardrobe and glam squad while filming “Live With Kelly and Ryan” from home these days, but she’s found some rather clever workarounds.
All of my clothes, all of my hair products, and all of my makeup is locked in the studio, which is closed because of everything that is going on,” the 49-year-old TV host shared during an Instagram Live ballet workout with dancer Tiler Peck on Saturday.
Ripa added that she’s been dipping into her daughter Lola’s beauty stash. “I keep putting on my daughter’s self-tanner, thinking that will help,” she said. “So now I’m just in an 18-year-old’s self-tanner and workout clothes.”
Last week on “Live,” Ripa revealed that she’d begun borrowing work outfits from her daughter as well, joking, “it’s gone there.”
Lola’s even stepped up as her mom’s interim hairstylist. “She watched a TikTok video on how to do hair by wrapping your hair around the bathrobe tie,” Ripa said. “And my daughter did my hair!”
Turns out, the teenager has some strong opinions about her mother’s style, and isn’t afraid to voice them. “What I have in our storage closet is bathing suits for summertime,” Ripa told Peck on Saturday.
“I had a one-piece and I put it on and my daughter said, ‘Do yourself a favor and do not wear that on Instagram. I know that you think right now it’s great, but later on, I promise you will hate it.’”
No word on whether Lola advised her dad, Mark Consuelos, on his new mustache.
