FAQ?
Where can I find Formit files in Revit?
You'll now find FormIt files (*.axm) offered in the Revit Link CAD files list. Fun fact: AXM stands for Autodesk X-Modeler, the internal code name for FormIt before it had an official name. Linking is great, but we didn't stop there! Building on that technology, we added a new feature unique to FormIt and Revit: The Edit in FormIt button.
How do I edit a Formit link in Revit?
Building on that technology, we added a new feature unique to FormIt and Revit: The Edit in FormIt button. After linking a FormIt model in Revit, you can now select the FormIt link element in Revit, and click Edit in FormIt to launch FormIt with that linked model open for immediate editing.
What is Formit doing to meet the demands of customers?
We are currently investing in those solutions to meet the demands of our customers. Formit is well known for quality fabrication, responsive turn around and delivery time, and our state of the art finishing capabilities. We remain flexible in order to accommodate the inevitable emergencies and rush orders.
How do I send a graph to Formit in Dynamo?
In Dynamo, you'll notice the file name at the top will now contain "(FormIt)", which means you're editing a graph that is embedded in this FormIt file, and not modifying the Source Graph. Make sure one or more SendToFormItnodes is connected to the geometry you want to send to FormIt.
