Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie turns 2

Archie is celebrating his 2nd birthday on Thursday! His parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, welcomed him into the world on May 6, 2019. The couple debuted their newborn at Windsor Castle two days later.

Archie met his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II that same day. She and her husband, Prince Philip, smiled as they said hello to the royal baby. Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, was also there for the special moment.

Archie was baptized with his royal family members in tow. Buckingham Palace released a sweet photo of Archie with his proud parents along with uncle Prince William, aunt Kate Middleton, grandfather Prince Charles, step-grandmother Duchess Camilla, grandma Ragland and the late Princess Diana's sisters, Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale.

Archie is already a big sports fan. At 2 months old, he accompanied mom and dad to the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day in the UK in July 2019.

Archie began taking on royal duties when he joined Harry and Meghan to meet Desmond Tutu in South Africa in September 2019.

Archie also met Tutu's wife, Leah -- and he looked very cute doing so during the Cape Town outing.

And he's been traveling the globe ever since. Archie was seen looking snuggly with his dad, Harry, by the water in Canada in December 2019.

Archie also loves the outdoors. Meghan was seen carrying her son while walking their two pups in Victoria, Canada, in January 2020, the same month she and Harry announced their plans to exit the royal family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated Archie's 1st birthday by reading him the kids' book "Duck! Rabbit!" in May 2020. The precious moment between Archie and his mom was shared on social media by Save the Children UK.

Little Archie was most recently spotted with Meghan in California after Harry arrived home from the UK following Prince Philip's funeral. The rugrat was seen in a beanie and a big green backpack.
