Why can’t I see the area in my viewport?
You created a Viewport in your drawing, and now that Viewport – or an area within it – has disappeared from view. The area might be anything from a planting or irrigation area, a patio, a lot, etc. For some reason, you are unable to see the area in your drawing. Is the 3D viewport better than the camera view?
I think the perspective given by the 3D Viewport is the best, it's much less distorted than the one offered by the Camera view. I am struggling to find a solution to render my image with the same perspective as in the 3D Viewport. This may be by design for various good reasons. Not debating that, just trying to find my way here.

How do I add or remove items from a section viewport?
Once a section viewport is created (Vectorworks Design Series required), you may need to add or remove items that display in the section view. To do so, first use the Convert to Lines, Convert to Polygons, or Convert to Group command to convert the viewport to another form.
